Avenor Tax & Law is a boutique firm of lawyers and tax advisors specialised in cross-border operations between Spain, Italy and Mexico. We combine academic rigour with the operational agility only a focused firm can offer.

We concentrate on projects with an international dimension: expanding companies, investors with multi-jurisdictional assets, family offices and individuals with operations in more than one country. Each matter is approached with an integrated view, not just a fragmented technical response.

Where we come from

Avenor Tax & Law SL is a limited company registered on 19 June 2025 with the Toledo Commercial Registry (CIF B22633093). Although the legal entity is recent, the professional team has built up a consolidated practice in international taxation, bookkeeping and commercial law.

The firm is born with a clear vocation: to be the reference point for operations crossing the three countries where most economic activity between Latin Europe and Ibero-America is concentrated.

How we work

Our model is boutique by conviction, not by size. That translates into four concrete decisions:

  • Direct attention from the senior team. From day one the client deals with someone with technical decision-making authority. There is no junior layering or administrative filtering.
  • Fixed fees from the diagnostic stage. The first meeting is free. If we move forward, fees are agreed before we begin, not afterwards.
  • Integrated multi-jurisdictional view. The three jurisdictions are analysed in parallel from the outset, not in silos. That avoids surprises at the implementation stage.
  • Work in your native language. Spanish, Italian and English. Meetings, documentation and correspondence in whichever language the client prefers.

IPEX accreditation

Avenor is accredited by the Instituto de Promoción Exterior de Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX), a body within the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha that vets firms with proven operational capacity to support corporate internationalisation processes.

What this means for the client

The IPEX accreditation is not a decorative badge. It is public recognition that the firm has documented experience in cross-border operations and meets the technical and operational standards required by the regional administration.

Structure and offices

Avenor operates from two owned offices in Spain:

  • Toledo (main office). Calle de Dinamarca, 4. 45005 Toledo. Registered address and centre of operations.
  • Madrid. Calle Velázquez, 27. Operational office for clients and matters in the capital.

Operations with Italian clients are managed from Milan, Italy's economic capital and nerve centre of Italian tax practice. Mexican operations are coordinated through our own network in Mexico City.

01

Trilateral specialisation

Spain-Italy-Mexico as the main corridor, not as one of many. Deep knowledge of the three regimes and their interactions.

02

Deliberate size

A team sized for technical depth, not for volume. Every client receives direct attention.

03

Transparent fees

Fixed budgets before we start. No billing for unbooked hours and no end-of-matter surprises.

04

Three native languages

Spanish, Italian and English. We work in the client's language, not in a watered-down lingua franca.

05

Applied research

Commitment to ongoing updates. Every regulatory change is translated into clear guidance for active clients.

06

Reinforced confidentiality

Specific protocols for clients with heightened privacy requirements. Professional secrecy as applicable to the Spanish legal profession.

Frequently asked questions

About the firm.

What prospective clients ask us most before getting in touch.

What kind of firm is Avenor?+

Avenor is a boutique tax law and bookkeeping firm. The term "boutique" describes a firm model that prioritises deep specialisation over volume and direct attention over hierarchical layering.

In practice that means clients are looked after by senior professionals from the first meeting, fees are fixed before we begin, and the dedication given to each matter is proportional to its complexity, not to the size of its bill.

When was Avenor established?+

Avenor Tax & Law SL was incorporated on 19 June 2025 and registered with the Toledo Commercial Registry on 9 July 2025. CIF B22633093.

The professional team, however, brings together a consolidated practice that predates the entity's incorporation.

Who is Avenor's typical client?+

Four profiles account for most of our portfolio:

  • Companies in international expansion opening a subsidiary or branch in Spain, Italy or Mexico.
  • Investors and entrepreneurs with assets in more than one jurisdiction.
  • Family offices with beneficiaries or assets in the three countries.
  • Individuals with cross-border operations: inbound expatriates under the Beckham Law, relocated professionals, crypto-asset traders.
Why Toledo as the main office?+

Toledo combines three operational advantages: proximity to Madrid (30 minutes by high-speed train), efficient operating costs reflected in competitive fees, and membership of Castilla-La Mancha, a region with an active international-promotion ecosystem through IPEX.

The Madrid office complements operations for clients who prefer meetings in the capital.

Does Avenor have an office in Italy or Mexico?+

The two owned offices are in Spain. Italian operations are coordinated from Milan and Mexican operations from Mexico City through an established professional network.

For the client the result is indistinguishable: local attention in their native language, knowledge of regional particularities, and centralised coordination from Avenor to avoid duplication or gaps between jurisdictions.

Do you work with other international firms?+

Yes. Avenor frequently acts as a correspondent in Spain for Italian, Mexican and third-country firms that need to support their clients on matters with a Spanish connection. Likewise, we refer work to selected correspondents when a matter requires coverage in jurisdictions outside our focus.

Let's talk about your matter.

First meeting at no cost. Technical diagnostic and fixed-fee proposal before we begin.
